And Still the Condos Keep Coming

I think too many developers and politicians have been standing out in the corn fields in the hot sun too long. “If you build it, he will come” might hold true if you’re building a ball field in Field of Dreams, but Philly’s no Iowa corn field and the city’s high-end condo towers are no ball field.

Another round of condo auctions and still more of these units scheduled to be built.. First Murano at 21st and Market and now these — including the swanky 10 Rittenhouse. How many more rounds before enough is (maybe) enough? Oh yeah…another tower slated for 22nd and Chestnut, so at least one.

About deb

Wandering and wondering - taking it all in -- and increasingly shaking my head. Who are we and how did we get to this here? And, what, where and how next? Putting what I see and think out there in pictures and always looking for other ways, hence, this blog. This blog, like me, is a work in process and still doesn't quite know what it wants to be when it grows up.
